영어 영작 #8 - 소설을 써보자02

안녕하세요. 영어 영작 8탄입니다. 지난번에 이어 소설을 써보려고 하는데요. 일기로 쓰는 것이 지루하면 가끔 소설로 영작하는 것도 좋은 방법인 것 같습니다. 오늘은 과연 남녀 등장인물이 서로 만나게 될까요? 어떤 내용이 전개될지 주목해 주시기 바랍니다. 그럼 시작하겠습니다.

 

 

영어 영작

I was getting nervous.

'Should I ask him when to meet first?'

'No, that's too much. It's not me who spilled coffee. He should contact me.'

It was Wednesday morning when I finally got his message.

'Sorry, I was late. I was on business trip and I think it'll be back tomorrow. If you're free, can we grab a beer after work tomorrow?'

Yay! I almost shouted out.

'What am I doing? It's just message. Let's not get too excited.'

I texted him back.

'Sure. We can meet at the McDonald's near the bus terminal. Does 7 work for you?'

'Yep. See you then. Have a nice day today!'

'Thank you. You too.'

It's going to be nice tomorrow. After I met him last week, I noticed that my life is not as usual as before. There was something growing in me. It was a good thing. Maybe love. Maybe just friendship. But I could tell it was something I haven't felt for a long time. I have a feeling that it's going to affect me in a good way.

'Shit. Why is it raining today? Can't it be rainy tomorrow instead?'

It was pouring outside when I got off work on Thursday. I had to borrow an umbrella from my annoying manager who always nag me out. I would've just walked in the rain if I weren't meeting this guy today.

'I'm at McDonald's. Do you have an umbrella?'

'I'm almost there! Yep I borrowed it.'

'Good, I'm wearing a black jean with blue sweat-shirt.'

'Ok! I can see you.'

"Hey, how are you? It's cold. Let's go to a bar near here. I know a nice place to have a beer."

"Good! How are you? Ok let's go there."
