영어 영작 #7 - 소설을 써보자

안녕하세요. 영어 영작 7탄입니다. 오늘은 일기 대신 소설을 써보려고 하는데요. 소설이라는 거창한 단어보다는 지어낸 짧은 이야기라고 생각하고 봐주시면 좋을 듯합니다. 제목은 미정인데요. 쓰다가 좋은 제목이 생각나면 붙이도록 하죠. 그럼 시작하겠습니다.

 

 

영어 영작

My life is pretty repetitive these days. I get up early in the morning, go to work, come back home, read some books or watch Netflix and go to bed. I'm the type of person who likes to stay at home rather than going out. There's not much of differences or changes in my life unless I do something different. But I think there's something new that happened recently that might change my life. I met this one guy last week at the cafe in the morning. I was getting my coffee and about to go out. As soon as I opened the door, he ran into the cafe, spilled my coffee all over the floor. His face was so pale that I thought he was sick.
"I'm so sorry, I'll get your clothes cleaned and get you another coffee. Also, can I get your number please so that I can reach you out?" I could see he really wanted to apologize and help me. I gave him my number, and he texted me later that day saying, "I'm Tim, I work at a doctor's office as a nurse near 34th street. If you don't mind, I'd like to buy you a dinner as a apology for this morning". 'He is sweet and gentle.' I thought.

"Sorry, not today. I have some errands to run tonight."

"Maybe someday on next day?"

"Sounds nice"

It's been 5 days since his last message, and he hasn't texted me yet. I was getting nervous.
